Hi, I’m Kurt. I take photos because I like to remember things. The feeling of a moment, not just how it looked.

I’m based in the East Valley of Phoenix and usually shoot around the valley. My style is pretty natural. I don’t do a lot of heavy editing or stiff posing. I try to make photos feel like they came out of a movie. Like you just paused a scene that means something.

I’d like to do more weddings, but I also really enjoy cinematic-style portraits. I like when a photo feels like it tells a quiet story.

I keep things relaxed on shoot day. No pressure. No weird poses. Just simple direction if needed, and space for people to be themselves. I think that’s when the best stuff happens.

People are often surprised that I’m calm. I think that helps everyone feel more comfortable. And when someone’s genuinely happy with the photos, it means a lot. That’s what keeps me doing this.

There are a lot of photographers out here. I’m just trying to do work that feels honest and hopefully give people something they’ll actually want to look back on.
